Eating in East Van
Over the years East Vancouver has become home to some of the best restaurants in the city. With the high amount of ethnic diversity we get to enjoy foods from all over the world and taste amazing fusions when they all come together. At East Van Townhouses we love our food! Chamber is one of our personal favourites and definitely one of the best restaurants in East Vancouver. Located between Yaletown and Gastown this tastefully designed, fine dining restaurant is home to some of the best Charcuteries in the city. A great place to go after work for a huge selection of beers, wines and cocktails to enjoy at the bar. If you are in the mood for dinner make a reservation and enjoy a Belgian style dinner, but be sure to order the Moules Frites as they have some of the best mussels in town!

If you are in the mood for Ramen, look no further. The Ramen Butcher is a casual, urban vibe with some of the best flavours in the city located in the heart of Chinatown. There can be long lineups for lunch on the weekends, but weekdays shouldn’t be a problem. The noodles are made in house but they also have gyoza’s and rice dishes on the menu.

Casual Mexican food done right. Sal y Limon doesn’t look like much from the outside but once try the tortas and burritos you will understand why the people continue to flood in. It’s very casual, and you order at the till. The food is fresh and the assortment of hot sauces will keep you sweating. Located in Mount Pleasant just off Kingsway.

Eat in or Take out. An unexpected venue for such good pizza. Thin crust, with a small selection, but the quality is great. Priced reasonably well and a good change up from the typical Canadian pizza places. Located just off Main and Terminal.

Some of the most fresh sushi in Vancouver, there is no wonder you always need to line up. Toshi opens it’s doors at 5pm on the dot and you can bet there will be people waiting. Toshi has a variety of other Japanese dishes as well if you aren’t in the mood for sushi. The eggplant and miso black cod are some of our favourites!
Hard to Pick One
Narrowing down the list for the best restaurants in East Vancouver was not easy. We could have mentioned at least another 10 but this list gives you a variety.
