Hastings East Community

Hastings East is as NorthEast as you can find in Vancouver proper. It borders Nanaimo Street to the East, Boundary Road to the West, the Burrard Inlet to the North and Hastings Street to the South.

This area is under huge redevelopment and has been recently coined by the City of Vancouver as the East Village. It has retained it’s community feel and is still very accessible to Downtown and Gastown. You also fall into Hastings Elementary catchment area which can be quite appealing for parents looking for a French Immersion option.

You will find some great townhouses on Wall Street that start in the mid $600K range.

These have great views of the water, amenities and are newly built. There are not many 3 bedroom townhomes in this area but some nice larger 2 bedrooms. You will also find newer duplexes being built here as the affordability is a bit more realistic for some families.
